Win a pair of free tickets to see The Lightning Child at The Globe
Che Walker and Arthur Darvill have teamed up again to create the Globe's first ever musical - and we have 200 pairs of tickets to giveaway
The Big Issue has teamed up with Shakespeare’s Globe to offer our readers 200 pairs of free tickets to see The Lightning Child, the riotous musical remix of The Bacchae from Che Walker, pictured left, and Arthur Darvill.
The first musical to be staged at London’s iconic Globe theatre, it’s an anarchic and psychedelic Dionysian gallop through history, sex, funk, gender schism, politics, repression, addiction, envy, tragedy and more sex. Please note: there will be filthy language and strong content. See our gallery of pictures from the production.
In this week’s magazine, on sale now, Darvill and Walker explain how they have trasnformed the ancient Greek fable into a story that reflects our modern urban world – and they admit it wasn’t an easy job!

Saturday, September 14 (7.30pm)
