WIN GIANT PANDAS! (Well, a visit to see Britain’s only Giant Pandas…)
What’s black and white, and furry all over? Obviously it’s the most-loved bears inBritainsince Pooh, the Giant Pandas Tian Tian and Yang Guang!
Edinburgh Zoo has been inundated with visitors since the furry newcomers arrived in December, and just last week our Chinese visitors celebrated their first ever Burns’ Night in fashionable style, with a special black and white Panda Tartan being launched. They are the first Giant Pandas to live inBritainfor 17 years, and already they are a massive hit with people travelling from all over the country to see them.
Yang Guang, the male panda who was taken out of his enclosure after suffering a bout of colic two weeks ago, is now firmly on the mend according to vets at the Zoo, and his munching cheerfully at his plentiful supply of bamboo again.
From next week we will be launching our special Panda Watch news updates on bigissue.com. But this week we are offering our readers a very special opportunity to see the pandas in real life.
Thanks to Edinburgh Zoo, we have five pairs of family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) to be won. Each winning ticket will include a panda viewing slot.
