Radioman - Win tickets to the star-studded premiere
The incredible story of how an obsession with the movies has helped a formerly homeless man to overcome alcoholism and find himself at the heart of the film industry, Radioman premieres in the UK next week.
A down-and-out sleeping rough on the streets of New York, Radioman picked up his moniker because of the trademark boombox radio he wears around his neck.
In 1990 on one of his walkabouts in the city, he chanced upon a film set and chatted to someone he thought was a fellow bum, offering him a swig of his booze.
The tramp was Bruce Willis and the film was Bonfire of the Vanities... Radioman’s rise to stardom started there.
With a filmography that includes some of the finest Hollywood films of the past three decades, Radioman is one of the best-known stars of New York film sets, and is now on first-name terms with movie giants, legends and Hollywood A-listers, including Robin Williams, George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Martin Scorsese, Matt Damon (pictured below), Ridley Scott and Ron Howard.
The Big Issue has three pairs of tickets for the star-studded UK premiere of the film on October 9 at Cineworld Haymarket, London.
The film will be followed by a Q&A with Radioman, the director Mary Kerr, and a special surprise guest.
To be in with a chance on winning, just answer this question:
Which city is Radioman from?
