The Big Issue Foundation is excited to now be using FundraizingHero to make fundraising easier for both us and our supporters.
Supporters can select from 3 options – a community fundraising activity, a sponsorship challenge or activity, or register a completed activity or challenge.
Our supporters receive a personalised fundraising pack by email where they can download, edit, and print the materials. This not only makes it easier for our supporters, but it also kickstarts their fundraising as materials can be downloaded instantly, meaning they can get started right away.
The personalised packs save money on print, postage, and design by being easy for home printing. This means with the packs at the click of their finger, our supporters only need to print what is needed and we avoid postage costs. The digital packs reduce the number of physical packs, which helps to reduce our carbon footprint!
The community fundraising packs have over 40 different illustrations, which vary depending on the activity chosen, so they receive a fundraising pack relevant to the activity they are organising.
Fundraisers choosing a community activity can select activities such as Afternoon Tea, Bingo Night, Escape Room, Karaoke, Murder Mystery, Movie Night, Quiz Night, and more! Fundraisers who choose challenge activities can pick between Climbing, Cycling, Obstacle Course, Running, and Bungee Jumping just to name a few!
