Cashless payments can increase a vendor’s income by £520 a year

The Big Issue was founded on the principle of a hand up not a hand out, and it’s important that we enable our vendors to earn as much as they can. With fewer people carrying cash, vendors without card payment options can miss out on vital income.

Thanks to your support, we’ve already helped over 1,500 vendors accept card payments. This spring, we aim to help 300 more, potentially adding a staggering £156,000 to vendors’ earnings annually.

A financial contribution of £15 enables us to help a vendor to go cashless and increase their earnings through selling the magazine.
