Street Art: Crimmins explores the link between figuration and abstraction

The Big Issue's Street Art page gives talented, marginalised individuals an outlet for creative expression

‘Untitled’

By Geraldine Crimmins

Geraldine is 60 and has struggled with drug addiction and been homeless twice, living on the streets around Victoria in London. Now she’s clean and lives in a housing association flat. She recently concluded a residency at Old Diorama Arts Centre in London, becoming the third artist affected by homelessness to do so there after David Tovey and James Gray, both of whose work has also featured in Big Issue Street Art.
