The Salt Path

The big film out this week in the UK is The Salt Path starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs. It follows a couple who decide to live wild, walking the 630-mile South West Coast Path, after being made homeless. Based on a true story, it’s an incredible journey, but all the more extraordinary is how Big Issue was involved in helping get it out there.

In 2017, Raynor Winn got in touch about writing about her epic walk. The article helped lead to a book deal and The Salt Path became a publishing phenomenon. With the film release, we bring you the inside story in this week’s magazine.
