Win! A luxury London stay and National Gallery visit

Visit the summer exhibition at the national Gallery in London to see Thomas Cole's Eden to Empire story

National Gallery

The summer exhibition at the National Gallery in London is Thomas Cole: Eden to Empire, focusing on the story of the Bolton-born artist who emigrated to the USA and became a pioneer in American landscape painting. His large, cinematic landscapes depict real-life locations and the rise and fall of imaginary empires, and many of the works featured in the National Gallery’s exhibition have never before travelled outside the USA. They will feature alongside paintings by Turner, Constable, Claude and Martin.

For more information about the exhibition, which runs until October 7, visit nationalgallery.org.uk

We are delighted to have teamed up with the National Gallery to offer one lucky reader two tickets for the exhibition, a goody bag including a mini print and postcard pack, and a luxury overnight stay for two at the four-star design-led Wilde Aparthotel at The Strand. Superbly located within easy walking distance of Trafalgar Square and the attractions of Covent Garden, West End theatres, galleries, restaurants, department stores, boutiques and markets, the winner will also receive breakfast for two at Smith & Wollensky.

Please note: exhibition tickets are valid until October 7, and accommodation must be booked at least four weeks in advance. Accommodation is subject to availability. Express/Continental breakfast at Smith & Wollensky must be booked one day in advance.

For more information see staycity.com/wilde/ and smithandwollensky.co.uk

Prize is subject to availability, cannot be redeemed for cash and is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
