World renowned composer Ludovico Einaudi is following in the footsteps of Coldplay by using an innovative new fundraising idea to support the vital work of the Institute of Imagination.

Einaudi, the world’s most streamed composer, is offering a prize draw for fans in which they can win an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at his next sell-out show at the O2 in London. Last year, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland’s fan-experience campaign raised almost £1million for Crisis and War Child.

Now the classical music giant is offering his supporters the chance to enter a prize draw for just £5 in which five lucky winners and their guests could win access to Ludovico Einaudi ‘s afternoon soundcheck, meet him personally, watch the concert from his guest area alongside their friends and family, attend the after-party and take home signed memorabilia plus a copy of his latest album.

Even better, the money raised will go to the Institute of Imagination, a UK charity helping children develop the creativity, confidence and skills they need to thrive. The charity works with schools, communities and families across the country – with a particular focus on children facing poverty, disadvantage and displacement.

Martin Allen Morales, CEO of the Institute of Imagination, said: “What’s exciting about this campaign isn’t just the prize, it’s the model itself.

“For charities, we’re entering a period where we need new approaches to fundraising. Traditional methods are becoming harder, while artists and cultural figures increasingly want to create meaningful experiences that are accessible to everyone, not just the wealthiest supporters.

“Chris Martin showed what’s possible when you combine an extraordinary experience with a simple, low-cost entry point. We believe this approach has enormous potential to unlock new funding for social causes. We’re incredibly grateful to Ludovico for embracing this idea.

“Children learn best when they are given the freedom to imagine, create and explore. By opening up such a personal and special evening, Ludovico is helping more children discover what becomes possible when creativity is placed at the centre of their lives.”

The Ludovico Einaudi prize draw runs from 8-21 June and is hosted by Crowdfunder UK. Enter here
