Big Issue Invest Trust

Since July 2018, the Trust has operated a grants programme, disbursing £406,000 to 24 organisations, supporting the growth of early-stage social enterprises. 

Following the outbreak of Covid 19, and its unprecedented impact on Big Issue vendors, the Big Issue Invest Trust board announced in July 2020 that it would support the vital work of The Big Issue by granting funds on to the social enterprise to enable it to deliver programmes which support marginalised and vulnerable people. To date the Trust has provided £679k of grant funding to the Big Issue, enabling the development of a range of financial and digital skills, training and employability programmes.
