A message from Big Issue founder John Bird

Now more than ever, our Big Issue sellers need your support

Dear Readers and Supporters,

For the last number of years, The Big Issue has been thriving, helping thousands of people earn and work their way out of poverty. This success has been down to you.

In unprecedented times, we are working quickly to adapt to the growing spread of Coronavirus and helping to support Big Issue sellers to continue to earn a living. We are working extremely hard to find new and innovative ways to support sellers and will be in touch with news on this very soon.

We need your continued support, so here’s how you can help us and our sellers in the meantime. We continue to publish our weekly magazine, with a new issue available every Monday.

  • Support your local vendor and buy a copy of the magazine. From next Monday (23rd March), we will be increasing the cover price of the magazine to £3 and the extra money raised will go directly to your seller.
  • If you can’t find a seller or you are self isolating, you can buy a printed or digital copy of the magazine from our shop.
  • Or a digital copy here
  • Why not subscribe to us for a 3 or 6 month subscription and regularly support us?

And lastly – please spread the word! Share your support for The Big Issue and our sellers by sharing our social media content on your channels.
