31 places where kids can eat free during the February half term

Here are all of the places where kids can eat for free during the school half term this year, as families face the cost of living crisis

Did you know there are plenty of places where kids eat free this February half term?

This will be a fantastic help to families who want to treat their kids while saving extra cash in the cost of living crisis.

Many parents rely on free school meals to ensure their kids have a healthy and nutritious hot meal five days a week. But the government only funds free school meals in term time, so families will have to look for alternative options.

Here are all the places kids can eat free or for just £1 over the February half term.

M&S cafes

From February 13 to 24, kids can eat free when you spend £5 in the M&S Café. Your children will be able to get a main, a snack, a drink and a piece of fruit from the Kids’ Munch Menu.

There are both hot and cold mains on offer. These include cheesy tomato pasta, jacket potato with sausage and beans and pancakes with blueberries and honey. Find out more here – including where to find your nearest store.

Kids eat for £1 at Giraffe until February 26. This includes one kid’s main, dessert and drink with the purchase of an adult meal. You need to grab the code from the restaurant’s website (GRKELMS) and then head on down to Giraffe. Tell your waiter you have a voucher when you get there. The offer excludes the King’s Cross and Southbank restaurants, and you won’t be able to use it at airports either.

Harvester

Kids can eat for £1 every weekday for a fortnight from February 13 and February 24. You will have to buy a full adult main but you get any main from the smaller bites, bigger appetites and kids’ breakfast menus for just £1. You can also get a free unlimited salad. You will have to download the Harvester app and save your voucher. Find out more here.

Barbican Kitchen

Children under 10 can get a free kid’s meal at the Barbican Kitchen with every adult meal over £10 purchased. This offer is not just for the half term but all year round. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Barbican. See the menu and more on their website.

Frankie and Benny’s

You can get a free kids meal with every adult main from Monday to Thursday over the half term, from February 13 to February 23. You’ll have to pop in your email and sign up for a Frankie and Benny’s account (which is free) and then download a QR code.

Chiquito

You can treat your little ones to a Mexican feast at Chiquito this half term. You’ll have to sign up to Chiquito – so they have your email and can send you future offers – and you’ll be sent a QR code. This can only be used once.
