Attenborough at 100
Issue 1716
On 8 May, the natural historian and broadcaster Sir David Attenborough turns 100. To mark this milestone event, Big Issue Ambassador Chris Packham has written about the unassailable legacy of his friend and mentor, and we look at five ways Attenborough has changed the world. We also celebrate other noteworthy centenarians of 2026, including Miles Davis, Marilyn Monroe, Mel Brooks and Big Issue’s regular Street Art contributor Rene Robbins.
