The hunt for Britain’s next great crime writer

PLUS:

  • We celebrate World Book Day as we continue to bang the drum for literacy. Founder of high street books empire Tim Waterstone spills why he still shops on Amazon and we hear from reading champion, David Kendall, who is throwing the book(s) at prisoners in their very own literary festival.
  • Comedian Simon Amstell says he’s outgrown his neuroses in a Letter To His Younger Self who would also be delighted to know he’s now got a boyfriend.
  • And don’t forget the World Book Day voucher on page 11 – exchange it for a free book from the WBD list or redeem it against another title.
