Vote dog!

This week we’ve gone all the way to the top of government for an audience with Keir Starmer, to ask him some big questions about tackling poverty and the cost of living. We were at Number 10 to celebrate the passing of the Renters’ Rights Act and the prime minister was quick to thank Big Issue for our part in making it happen. Meanwhile around the corner, two of our vendors and their beloved dogs were having a cover photoshoot in Parliament Square, before heading to the Houses of Parliament on a special mission to demand a ban on no-pet policies in temporary accommodation. Sausages may have been involved.
