Dogs at polling stations are bringing “pawsitive vibes” to this local election day (excuse the pun).

These pups have been up from the very early hours of this morning, and they are encouraging everyone to get out to your local polling station to vote.

One of the most important messages coming from these democracy-loving dogs this morning is to remember to bring your ID. (Paw prints are, unfortunately, not accepted).

These elections are the first in England where voters are required to show photo ID at polling stations, thanks to the controversial new voter ID laws.

So thank goodness for these happy pups who are making sure to remind everyone not to forget their ID this year!

We’ll be updating this through the day, so keep coming back for the funniest and most fabulous pictures of dogs at polling stations across the internet!

Thank goodness it’s not raining cats and dogs.

Triple threat.

Got this far? Don’t forget your ID!
