Lottie Elton
Lottie Elton is an award-winning journalist and senior reporter at Big Issue, where she covers social justice, the environment and politics. Her reporting at Big Issue has included investigating river pollution and sewage dumping, covering the fight over lithium mining in Cornwall, and exposing how technology is exploiting people experiencing homelessness. She previously worked as a health and state politics reporter at The West Australian and as a video journalist at Euronews. Her work has also appeared in Noema Magazine, In These Times and Business Insider. Lottie is a 2026 PPA Next Gen Awards winner, a John Schofield Trust Fellow and a Scottish Refugee Council Media Awards winner.
