“I was homeless for a while, and now I am vulnerably housed,” says this anonymous artist, who sketches as part of an art group at The Gatehouse, a charity running a volunteer-led cafe for homeless people in Oxford. “I see rough sleepers around town every day. I identify with them, but I can’t really do much to help, except just being friendly. Maybe my pictures will prompt some helpful action.”
